Tuesday: Multi Zones
We had a big mission meeting called a Multizone conference. Unlike in the past where we had to bus in to Tegus the night before, we just took a taxi in the morning.
The meeting was great and everything. I'm not going to mention specifics because it was all over the place topic wise. The missionaries who were going to leave at the end of the transfer gave their testimonies. 3 of the 4 APs, and one of the mission nurses gave their testimonies. A lot of mission leadership is leaving soon.
Wednesday: Horse!!!!
We went to someone we are teaching's house to help them out with a small field they have. When we got there, we found out a horse had eaten through the grass we were supposed to cut. A horse beat us to it, a HORSE!
Apparently, a friend loaned them their horse to help them out. Hungry horse + grass = no more grass.
Thursday: English Connect
So the church created a program to help people learn English. We decided it would be best to teach from their instead of random topics we thought of.
But the thing is, the other group of elders we teach with couldn't come. I had to teach the English Alphabet by myself. It was really fun and some drunk people in the class that had ok English helped me out.
Friday: 6 Niños
We were bored, so we went street contacting. We found a group of kids playing soccer. We chatted with them a bit and found out that they would love to be taught from us. After that, not much for the rest of the day.
Saturday: Next Week
Turns out the kid, Paolo, that we were helping get ready for baptized got sick and so did most of his family. We postponed it to the next week and hopefully we can do it then.
I also learned how to solve a Rubix cube too. Not much to talk about that, but it was something that happened.
Sunday: Priesthood Ordination
A cool thing happened after church. Someone who got baptized the month received the Aaronic Priesthood and got ordained to a priest. He is in his 40s I think but having another priest is great. The ward could use some help with the sacrament. (The Elders Quorum President and the bishopric helping shows the amount of help they need).
Also after church, I sat around and talked with a sister and her daughter who could speak a little English. We spoke for a very long time in simple English but it was very fun.
That's it for this week. You get double the stuff to read because I didn't finish last weeks. Have a great week everybody.
