First Week of the Transfer

---Tuesday--- Elder Chaj My new companion is Elder Chaj. He's from a small town near the Mexican border in Guatemala. He's short but full of spirit. We started this transfer out by going out and contacting for 4 hours straight.  He got to know the area more as well ---Uhhhh--- Well, for the rest of the week I had strange chest pains. It would hurt alot and the not at all and yeah.... that went on for a couple of days, fast forward---- ---Sunday--- Doctor Visit We went and visited the doctor on Sunday. After alot of tests they found nothing. Absolutely nothing. We went back to our area and finished off the day.... ---Monday--- "Ayuda!!!" (Help!) We were walking in the street today when we heard someone else crying out for help. We initially thought it was a joke until we saw the blood. She was bleeding from her head. We went and found a member that lived near by, called an ambulance, it was this big whole thing. We found her before anyone else and good thing we did b...

Staying this Transfer

No letter from Chaz this week, just a chat on the phone and some pics. He is staying in his area another transfer, but gets a new companion Elder Chaj. Didn't know much about him, but thought he might be from Guatemala.

So many people...

---Monday--- Picacho We went off as a zone and visited El Picacho. It's a very nice park with a giant statue of Jesus. Of course I bought a tiny statue while I was there. It was fun to visit the park and chat with the zone. We found a music video making youtuber while we were there filming which was strange. He was just lip singing and it was weird to watch. At least they had the music playing but still.... Afterwards we got Domino's Pizza. It tasted pretty good. We headed home and that was it for the day. ---Tuesday--- Visiting Comayaguela My companion had to go to the mission leadership council. I went off to the Comayaguela area again. I was with the zone leader's companion (there is only one zone leader here). I had a good lunch there and ate some Mexican candy at their pensionista's house. We went and visited their recent convert. She was baptized the day of the stake conference and was confirmed by the Area Seventy that was visiting. It was fun to talk to her an...

Not too much happened, a lot of church attendance though

---Tuesday--- Visit with Andy We headed out to go visit Andy again. We went and talked about the Word of Wisdom and learned that he needs to stop drinking coffee. He only drank it to help him get up in the morning so we are going to see how that goes.  Later that night we went and visited an investigator named Delmi. We talked to her and she was super pessimistic about the world, how it's full of darkness and misery (somebody watches too much Honduran news, it's pretty depressing). It was an interesting conversation to say the least. ---Wednesday---.Visit with Young Women's President That day we went and visited with the Young Women's President. We went to ask her about inactive members and to tell her that we have 2 investigators (sisters) who are young women aged. She was super excited about that (we have a small YW's organization here). It was great to see her excitement and how she was willing to help us in any way she can. ---Thursday--- Uhh... we just st...
