---Walking In Circles---
I had divisions last week in my district leader´s area. We went to go contact and well, we just ended up walking in circles on accident. We would find an intersection or a house again and again. The streets here are confusing sometimes.
---Adventures in Nativities---
We went out today to go buy nativities for home. We ended up waiting several hours in the mall because my debit card wasn't working and wandering the Mercado looking for nativities. I eventually found some that I liked at the price that I liked. Mission Complete!
---Spiritual Thought---
“In some of my darkest moments and my deepest anguish, I’ve come to believe that life is incredibly unfair — in our favor,” said Jennie Taylor, a mother of seven.
“If we let Him, Jesus Christ will consecrate the unfairness for our gain,” Elder Renlund taught. “He will not just console us and restore what was lost; He will use the unfairness for our benefit.”
“Life is Incredibly Unfair — In Our Favor”
I really liked this video that the church released. Our lives are not fair. Things do not go our way, but there is a plan. God can help us learn and grow from the things life gives us which is really important and we need to be willing to accept that.
Even during difficult times, perhaps especially during difficult times, we need the blessing of gratitude. Consider this invitation from President Russell M. Nelson: “Our first noble deed of the morning should be a humble prayer of gratitude” (see “Joy Cometh in the Morning,” Ensign, November 1986, page 68).
Can you imagine a day that begins that way? How might we approach a day that we consider a gift from God? After all, this glorious world and everything good in it come from Him, including our very lives. We can never finish counting our blessings, but we can start, and we can “live in thanksgiving daily, for the many mercies and blessings which [God] ... bestow[s] upon [us]” (see Alma 34:38).
“Music & the Spoken Word”
This Thanksgiving quote talks about the blessings of giving thanks. We can receive divine help if we learn to be grateful for what we have.
